Détails

There is another tool called Procomm that has this feature that can be used as an example. It has an optional row of buttons at the bottom of the window that can each be assigned a macro or string of text to send to the terminal. In the link below, an image can be seen of the program I have described.

There is a way to do this with AutoIt, but this doesn't always work. Although that may be an easier solution for some, a better way would be to add the functionality into the program. The use of AutoIt seems more like a hack than anything else.

I need this feature as well. Please add it to TeraTerm. Thanks. :)

I'd be willing to help with adding this feature. I am just having a little trouble working with the GUI.

This is a feature we currently use extensively in a program called "Com 7.2" and "Com 7.6" from TGL Microsystems. It looks like TGL Micro went out of business quite a while ago, and we would love to completely switch to TeraTerm but this is one feature keeping us from changing.
