how do you change the cursor color from white to something else? (What I would like is to make it the same as the text foreground color. Then if the block cursor is blinking over some text, the single letter where the cursor is should be displayed in reverse.)

In addition, how do you change the color of the mouse pointer? (I just noticed that the mouse pointer defaults to black, which is not good if my selected window background is also black. Whereas the cursor defaults to white. And ideally I would like to make them both the same color as the foreground or text.)

I put this ticket in. Looks like my comment of 11-20-2018 16:06 ("the mouse pointer defaults to black") applies only in a certain environment so you can disregard the comment. So you can reduce the priority of this, if you like.

I was trying to change the mouse cursor color, since my terminal backgrounds are black ... I don't know why, but even though I choose a different ANSI color for the mouse cursor,

and even save the setup and close and then re-launch the session, the mouse cursor is still black.
