Tera Term Pro is a wonderful serial program that I
continue to use after many years. With recent USB to
serial ports etc., Windows allows many COM port
configuration - often the standard COM ports (from DOS
days), COM1-COM4 are not usable. TTermPro does not
allow to select any other COM Port in the system unlike
Hyperterminal (a most crappy program). For eg. adding a
USB to Serial converter on my laptop resulted in COM6
being assigned to this port.
Hope this support can be added to TTermPro
