This is the old BSD tn3270 made to compile under Linux/GLIBC. It is not perfect and not being actively maintained. Also in the same directory is 3270v4.1 from CERN, made to compile under Linux/GLIBC, which looks nicer. If you are interested in these programs, you may also want to look at the Linux tn5250 project.

Enhanced Reverse Pimpage is an enhanced version of
the original rpimp by Matt Miller. Reverse Pimpage
was designed to allow you to access a computer
that is behind a firewall from outside that
firewall itself. The way it accomplishes this is
by having the client (the computer behind the
firewall) send a SYN request to a certain port at
certain intervals. The computer that will access
the client must run the server program, and when
the time interval is up it will connect. Once it's
connected, the client telnets to itself and routes
data back and forth between the two.

PerlTW is a Linux-based Tradewars Helper. It only
supports Telnet connections and is fully
configurable and scriptable. It is curses
(console) based. The program is complete, but many
more scripts need to be written before it can be a
fully useful program.

The BlinkenServ (or BlinkServ) is a project aimed at
developing software for the Simple Blinkenlights
Transport Protocol. It currently provides a graphical
server suite that features streaming, file sharing for
blm movies, and uploading of love letters and the
ability to play them on demand. It includes a stream
viewer (compatible with CCC's blccc) as well as a file
sharing client that uses the SBTP protocol.

Time Based Text allows the user to include more
information in written text by saving the time delta between keystrokes and offering a way to reproduce it exactly how it has been written. It offers a protocol and reference implementation that is easily embeddable in applications using text-based human communication. The idea behind it is that email systems as well poetry and literature may benefit from a time-based approach to text. It comes with a portable C++ reference implementation to generate TBT messages and save them in HTML and DokuWiki (JSON), a Website to upload and exchange TBT poetry, plus various advanced TBT implementations in Javascript, Python, and Perl.

taTelnet is a cross-platform telnet client that emulates a VT100 terminal with color support, built using the wxWindows GUI.

Emergency CD 2 is a is console-only mini live
Linux CD distribution based on RedHat 7.3. It
features kernel 2.4.19-xfs(i586), and many console
tools and utilities.

A Perl program that uses Net::SSH::Perl that allows
systems administrators to run multiple commands to
multiple hosts from one central host.

The Kava Telnet Application is complete telnet and
SSH application featuring pluggable modules for
easy customization. It is based on the JTA project.

jsmud is a MUD kernel that embeds SpiderMonkey and
SQLite, making it possible to develop a MUD using
JavaScript. Note that you cannot run jsmud inside
of a browser; it is a server process, not an
applet or Web page.

VT6530 is a C++ implementation of the proprietary
terminal used with Tandem (HP Non-Stop)
mainframes.

blinkperl is a telnet server (written in Perl) which plays a random (ASCII-Art) Blinkenlights-Movie if a telnet client connects. In a properly configured system, you do not need a 'usual' telnet server (because of the plaintext password transmission, ssh is better and uses another port), so why not play ASCII-Art Movies on the telnet port?

gpgutils is a set of utilities for GNUPG. It includes gpgedit, gpgsignfiles, and gpgverifyfiles.
These allow encryption and code signing tasks to
be simplified.
