Open HPI SNMP Subagent is a Net-SNMP based subagent which exposes the HPI Interface via SNMP. It includes full support for Resources, Events, Hardware Sensors and Controls, and all other elements of the HPI specification. It will work with any HPI 1.0-compliant implementation.

Le nom a été changé de MIB HPI-MIB pour IPH-B0101-MIB. Le MIB est maintenant conforme aux normes énoncées dans le RFC 2578 et compile proprement avec des compilateurs différents MIB (par exemple SMICng). Horodateurs sont désormais présentée comme une chaîne d'octets plutôt que d'une Counter64. Tous les horodateurs sont maintenant affichés dans l'ordre des octets du réseau. The MIB name was changed from HPI-MIB to HPI-B0101-MIB. The MIB now conforms to standards set forth in RFC 2578 and compiles cleanly with various MIB compilers (e.g. SMICng). Timestamps are now represented as an Octet string rather than a Counter64. All timestamps are now displayed in network-byte order. Mechanisms for converting time from network-byte order to little-endian form and vice versa were added. Entry_Count and Entry_Count_Total scalars were replaced by Active_Entries and Lifetime_Changes. Threads are now supported by the use of a newly implemented locking mechanism.
