Tkgeomap is a set of extensions to the Tcl/Tk scripting language for accessing, manipulating, and displaying geographic data. The extensions add commands that perform basic cartographic calculations, define and use projections, store data in lines and as named places, and display the data in canvas widgets.

Il s'agit d'une révision majeure de 1 .*. Les extensions sont plus simples et plus conformes à Tcl / Tk conventions de codage. Toutes les commandes sont dans un espace de noms (GEOMAP::). Line arrays et les lieux sont présentés comme éléments de canevas individuelles au lieu d'être jetés dans un widget canvasgeomap unique (qui a maintenant disparu).

This is a major revision of 1.*. The extensions are simpler and conform more closely to Tcl/Tk coding conventions. All commands are in a namespace (geomap::). Line arrays and places are presented as individual canvas items instead of being dumped into a single canvasgeomap widget (which is now gone).
